Diablo 3 will definitely NOT ship with the current achievements for 0.4 in the beta.. Who knows if they'll even let ya keem them to show off? They've already wiped a few times already and we're expecting another soon. That being said, why bother achieving them? Most of us in it right now think that it's so you can get to the next stage of Beta, PvP arena, which is currently only shown at press events.
Here's a list of the D3 Beta Achievements as of 0.4 and here are the best ways to achieve them:
Achievement - Description [Tips]
A Boon Companion - Acquire the Templar as a follower. [easy - you get this one by going through the game once]
Betamaxed - Complete all the maximum level class achievements. [ie. Get all of the classes to level 13.]
Bringing Down the House - Kill 10 monsters with the environment. [Drop a chandelier, or wall on a mob gathering]
Kill (5,10,20,35 and 50) elite monsters (champions, rares or uniques) while playing cooperatively. [This goes quick when you join Public "Reign of the Skeletal King" runs to get level 13]
Deep Pockets (500, 5,000 and 10,000) - [This is a sad and unfortunate achievement to complete because it means 10-20 skeleton king runs in concession without using your companion. Did I mention that disconnecting will restart the counter..]
Elite Kills (Co-Op and Campaign) (5, 10, 20, 35, 50) - Kill (5-50) elite monsters (champions, rares or uniques).
Fall of the Black King (All, Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor and Wizard) - Kill the Skeleton King with all the classes.
Gate Crasher - Kill all the zombies spawned after speaking to Rumford within 20 seconds. [Reset your quest to "The Fallen Star" with a character that has an Area of Effect attack. Then just spam your attack by the trees you'll be down in under 10 seconds]
Instant Karma - Have the Skeleton King kill 15 of his own minions in a single fight. [Run around and let the Skeleton King summon and spin through his minions. If you're doing this with more than 1 person it tends to take longer unless everyone knows what to do while he teleports to each of them.]
Iron Heart - Help the Blacksmith reach level 4. [Use the cube to break down EVERY item you pickup for Common Scraps. Pages of Training come easy by searching corpses.]
Jar of Souls (Co-Op and Campaign) - Complete the Jar of Souls Event [Easy if ya play through the game - there is usually always someone willing to do it after a Skeleton King run]
Level 10 - Reach Level 10 with any class.
Live Saver - Resurrect each of the classes while playing in a cooperative game. [This has to be done without disconnecting. After getting disconnected by the game before I could complete it, I just decided to get a friend to die for me with every class.]
Light Entertainment - Kill a monster with a Chandelier. [Now whenever I see a chandelier I ignore the mobs and go straight to the chain so I can see it land on a mob]
Massive Blow- Kill 20 Monsters in one hit. [This is like one of those achievements that keep on giving, you'll still get XP everytime you kill a whole slew of enemies with one attack. - The easiest way to get this done is when you're doing the Jar of Souls quest and enemies are non-stop spawning in, use your best Area of Effect attacks.]
Maxed Out (Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor and Wizard) - Level up each class to 13 for their achievement.
Mind the Metal - Teach a recipe to the Blacksmith. [After you do a run through of the game you usually get a rare recipe for a hide belt after killing the Skeleton King]
Superior Craftsmanship - Craft an item. [Easy]
Legacy of Cain (Campaign and Co-Op)- Discover the fate of Deckard Cain. [Save Deckard Cain around the middle of the Act 1 story line]
The Matriarch's Bones (Campaign and Co-Op) - Complete The Matriach's Bones event in a campaign and cooperative game.
Thorough Inspection - Explore all areas of the cathedral in Act 1. [You get this in a Skeleton King Run]
